Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager who is well-versed in standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the project management field. This role requires a blend of experience and creativity to effectively plan and achieve project goals while working under the guidance of a Senior Project or Program Manager on larger initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, plan, and coordinate project teams to ensure effective collaboration.
2. Adhere to established project management methodologies, including PMI's framework.
3. Comprehend both business and technical objectives, collaborating closely with project sponsors.
4. Develop project charters and work plans, monitoring budget and schedule progress through relevant metrics.
5. Establish project organization, defining roles and responsibilities clearly.
6. Document potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
7. Manage project scope effectively.
8. Create and execute a comprehensive communication plan.
9. Build and lead an efficient team, assigning tasks and evaluating performance outcomes.
10. Negotiate resource allocation as necessary.
11. Maintain communication with stakeholders and project sponsors.
12. Identify, track, and resolve issues, ensuring barriers are removed.
13. Provide technical support to team members.
14. Handle complex application features and technical designs.
15. Oversee the development and implementation of components for intricate application features.
16. Manage a team of application system analysts.
17. Offer direction for the formulation, development, implementation, and delivery of projects.
18. Ensure project plans maintain tasks, schedules, estimates, and status updates for team members and customers.
19. Create a structured management approach for complex environments, emphasizing quality and consistency.
20. Initiate corrective actions in areas where performance does not meet objectives.
21. Coordinate responsibilities across supporting facilities and monitor their performance.
22. Exhibit self-direction and independence in managing projects.
23. Oversee all project aspects, setting deadlines and monitoring progress.
24. Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management regarding project status.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Proficient in schedule management and vendor management.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Project Manager role.
