- Oversee daily laboratory operations ensuring adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety regulations, and the upkeep of necessary laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Conduct chemical analyses and synthesis activities.
- Prepare validation documents and reports.
- Draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including MSOPs, QSOPs, QCSOPs, and ESOPs.
- Design and validate testing methodologies for new materials under development to guarantee reliable outcomes.
- Produce samples of new materials intended for production and supervise small-scale manufacturing processes.
- Engage in research initiatives aimed at enhancing existing chemical processes.
- Evaluate incoming and in-process materials utilizing techniques such as NMR, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
- Provide technical support to Manufacturing teams concerning issues related to product development.
- Generate summary reports, monthly progress updates, and technical documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline is preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a chemistry role.
SKILLS
- Proven knowledge of GLP principles and their application.
- Solid understanding of polymer and organic chemistry.
- Competence in statistical analysis and data visualization is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
Compensation is competitive and will be determined based on experience.
