Job Description

Rosenbauer South Dakota, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and procuring materials to support our production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze MRP outputs and initiate new purchases to support production schedule changes and inventory initiatives.
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement inventory programs to reduce inventory levels and improve working capital.
  • Review and resolve receiving and invoicing discrepancies to ensure accurate inventory and timely supplier payments.
  • Monitor planned delivery dates and notify production support of any upcoming or pending delays.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with material resource planning (MRP) and accounting principles.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
