We are seeking a highly experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to join our Vehicle Engineering Software Engineering organization as a Senior Software Manager. This position is located onsite at El Segundo, CA facilities.
As a Software Section Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- • Manage employees responsible for engineering products across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Assist in the development and implementation of departmental vision and strategies regarding people, processes, and tools.
• Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet technical quality, cost, and schedule objectives by gathering and reporting metrics.
• Coordinate with program leadership to manage software staffing profiles for a large team of software engineers.
• Participate in program functional support activities to improve execution including process audits, independent review team evaluations, tiger teams, root cause analysis, NAR/ICE, and pre-milestone reviews.
• Provide excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
If you have prior experience in leading a software team of at least 10 employees across the full software development lifecycle and possess an active DoD Secret clearance, we encourage you to apply.
