Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Commerce Co. as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
  • Perform general grounds maintenance, including trash removal and recycling.
  • Stock offices and restrooms with necessary supplies.
  • Prepare facilities for meetings and events, including setting up chairs, tables, and other equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in custodial work or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent walking, standing, and bending, as well as occasional lifting and carrying of objects. You will also be exposed to strong odors and cleaning chemicals.
