Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maximizing equipment uptime through effective preventive maintenance procedures and planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement schedules and maintenance programs for preventive maintenance, new work, and overhauls.
  • Supervise maintenance groups during the absence of the supervisor.
  • Coordinate all work that involves a change in equipment or process.
  • Perform administrative responsibilities, including regular backlog status reports and weekly forecast of maintenance work reports.
  • Order materials for direct delivery and plan and screen orders placed by others to prevent duplication.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to direct others, forecast, and establish priorities.
  • Proficient use of MMIS to process work orders and analyze equipment problems.
