About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with a strong background in software development and TypeScript. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing key backend features, optimizing system performance, and contributing to the architecture of our event-driven and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain backend systems using software development best practices and TypeScript.
  2. Design and implement robust, high-performance SQL queries and optimize database interactions.
  3. Build and maintain services using ORMs like Sequelize or TypeORM.
  4. Architect and implement event-driven solutions for distributed systems.
  5. Apply expert-level knowledge of design patterns to build maintainable and scalable code.
  6. Improve existing codebases and systems by diagnosing performance bottlenecks and fixing critical issues.
Qualifications
  1. 4+ years of experience as a backend engineer.
  2. Proficiency in software development and TypeScript.
  3. Strong experience with SQL and ORMs like Sequelize or TypeORM.
  4. Solid understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
  5. Expert knowledge of design patterns and best practices for clean and maintainable code.
