Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with transit vehicles
  • Maintain and repair various systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in transit vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience as a heavy equipment or automotive mechanic
  • 2+ years of experience as a bus mechanic
  • ASE certification in (H) Series Transit Certification or Certified Master Transit Bus Technician
  • Valid Class B California driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
