Electrical Engineer - Starship Avionics

Join SpaceX, a pioneering company in space exploration, as an Electrical Engineer - Starship Avionics. We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to design, develop, and test electrical systems for our Starship program.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-reliability electronics for rockets and spacecraft
  • Provide technical leadership and manage related risk and change across the program
  • Drive new technology introduction and provide mentoring for less senior engineers
  • Create development and qualification testing campaigns and exercise designs to their limits
  • Support hardware through production, integration, and flight
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards or other electronics
Preferred Skills:
  • Passion for spaceflight and curiosity for electronics in high-reliability applications
  • Experience making products or systems work with minimal time and resources
  • Experience with first principles analysis and design
