Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join our team at Patterns LLC. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special procedure imaging, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting radiologists as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Imaging and Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients correctly for specific examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol, including proper documentation on images and required body part questionnaires.
- Equipment Maintenance and Quality Assurance: Assume responsibilities for designated areas and/or procedures, producing good technical images, reviewing completed scans for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Assisting Physicians and Maintaining Cleanliness: Assist physicians during procedures as necessary, maintain the cleanliness of all areas, equipment, and accessories, and report any malfunctioning equipment to the MRI supervisor.
- Administrative and Communication Tasks: Perform routine office duties, such as answering phones, checking previous reports/films, documenting information on patient requests, utilizing EMR and PACS systems, and notifying front desk staff upon exam completion.
- Education and Training: May be assigned as an instructor or preceptor, introducing themselves and educating each patient or family member regarding the examination ordered, and attending staff meetings and in-services.
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist who is knowledgeable and skilled in providing care based on the age, physical, and psychosocial stature of patient populations, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups.
