**Job Summary**

The Yard Hostler is a critical role within Red Bull North America's operations team, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trailers within our yard. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate a Terminal Tractor to move trailers within the yard, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assist in the management of the yard, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Supervisor to develop and implement effective yard management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and customer service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or other management personnel.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of one year of experience operating a Terminal Tractor or similar equipment.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in the CPG or Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems and/or warehouse management (WM) systems.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language skills a plus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, reach, and climb steps and/or ladders to perform necessary actions for the role.
  • Occasional lifting, moving, and placing up to 75 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, varying temperature, and weather conditions.
  • Ability to be certified for and responsibly operate Terminal Tractor, Powered Industrial Truck (PIT), and other equipment within the facility.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Has an active driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Travel 0-10%.
  • Permanent.
  • Benefits eligible.
