Role Overview
As a School-Based Occupational Therapist at Soliant, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' academic and personal growth within a school environment. We seek compassionate and skilled professionals dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing areas such as motor coordination, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive care plan for each student.
- Monitor student progress closely, maintain detailed therapy session documentation, and communicate effectively with the school team and caregivers.
- Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Possess current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibit the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
