Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to work a Labor and Delivery contract at a great hospital in Richmond, VA.

This is a full-time night shift contract with a competitive hourly rate of $51 per hour. You must have 2 years of recent and relevant experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for patients with behavioral health disorders.
  • Conduct physical assessments, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and response to treatment.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on behavioral health disorders and treatment plans.
  • Ensure patient safety through proper medication management and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Follow all state, federal, and facility guidelines and regulations for nursing practice and behavioral health care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
