Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated nocturnist to become part of our established hospitalist/nocturnist group. This role offers a variety of benefits and supportive resources typical of a large health system multispecialty organization, while also recognizing individual contributions.

The selected candidate will integrate into our well-respected Hospitalist team. We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills and a desire to foster strong relationships with the community and current medical staff.

Key Highlights:

  • 7 days on, 10 days off (approximately 140 shifts annually)
  • Open ICU with required pulmonary/critical care consultation within 24 hours
  • Manage nighttime admissions while the APP oversees the floor

  • Procedures are not mandatory

Qualifications

Education, Certifications, and Experience Required:

  • Current clinical competence with a sufficient volume of experience demonstrating the ability to deliver services at a high standard of quality and efficiency;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings;
  • Board certified or board eligible through the appropriate ABSM body;
  • Current licensure from the relevant medical board is preferred;
  • Additional skills should include effective communication and leadership capabilities, with the ability to facilitate change. Candidates should be oriented towards physician practice and patient populations, participating in multidisciplinary rounds and supporting accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities.
Compensation
$144.00 per hour
