Director of Trauma Program

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Trauma Program to lead our trauma centers and ensure the delivery of high-quality trauma care services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and priorities for trauma care aligned to BSWH business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, medical staff, and nursing staff to coordinate and deliver trauma care services and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and monitor care provided to trauma patients and lead trauma center quality and performance improvement activities.
  • Develop and maintain required clinical, administrative, performance improvement, patient safety, and statistical analysis reporting.
  • Identify possible ACS criterion deficiencies and communicate obstacles to corrective action to appropriate senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of nursing experience in trauma center, surgical critical care, or related area.
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments and clinical disciplines within a large, complex healthcare organization preferred.
