About the Role

This RN Registered Nurse position provides direct nursing care to patients in the long term care setting in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition as appropriate, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, noting and carrying out physician and nursing orders, assuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate, assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have licensure/certification/registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted; Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required; education: diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
