About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for examining patients, ordering diagnostic tests, formulating diagnoses, and directing therapeutic treatment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as endoscopies and biopsies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in medical research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in gastroenterology
- Provide guidance and education to patients and their families
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved medical school
- Active or eligible New York State license
- Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $200/hour, $20/hour on call
- Malpractice insurance provided
