Landscape Maintenance Specialist

Primary Objective: To ensure designated areas are maintained in a clean and secure manner. To support the health and aesthetic appeal of plant life. To assist with landscaping and construction tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
- Regularly inspect assigned areas for litter and ensure safety for visitors and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of plant beds and natural landscape zones.
- Water plants as necessary.
- Monitor irrigation systems and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Assist with planting, pruning, fertilization, and other specialized tasks under supervision.
- Support ongoing construction activities as needed under guidance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Supervision: No direct supervision exercised.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Landscape Supervisor and Landscape Manager.
Essential Qualifications:
Must be a proactive self-starter capable of working independently. Basic knowledge of horticulture and turf management is preferred. Familiarity with landscape construction principles is beneficial. Ability to comprehend product labels, written plans, and verbal instructions. Strong interpersonal skills to engage with guests in a friendly and informative manner. Team-oriented mindset to collaborate effectively with other staff members.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
50% of the time spent standing.
10% of the time spent sitting.
20% of the time spent walking.
20% of the time spent kneeling or bending.
Must possess hearing acuity and manual dexterity.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Capability to operate a golf cart or utility vehicle.
