Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality care to a medically fragile teenager in their home. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the patient's safety and comfort in their own environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a compliant and timely manner
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, and family members on client concerns and changes in condition

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test within the last 12 months
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
