We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team at Mercedes Diaz Homes Inc. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing training and developmental support to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one training and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs of each participant
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support
  • Document and report on participant progress and outcomes

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; relevant certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid) a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
