About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Snow Cat Operator to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a Snow Cat Operator, you will be responsible for grooming and preparing the snow surface for our skiing guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate snow grooming equipment to maintain high-quality ski trails
  • Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on snow grooming equipment to minimize downtime

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • Experience working with and operating heavy machinery
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Climb in and out of the machine safely

  • Full-time schedule with afternoon to midnight and midnight to morning shifts
