Nurse Manager Assistant

Western Hills Health Care Center seeks a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Nursing Services department, you will assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the department.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Nursing Services department.
- Interview, select, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise nursing staff.
- Oversee infection control responsibilities and provide direct nursing care as necessary.
- Perform functions of a staff nurse as required.
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Two years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care.
- Expert knowledge in the field of practice.
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability coverage.
