Job Summary

The Baylor Scott & White Health organization is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join their team. This role will involve performing interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients, under the general supervision of a Radiologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed, and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and moving equipment into position.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control policies, and radiation protocols.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
  • ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI certification is preferred and must be obtained within two years of hire date.
  • Ability to perform tasks autonomously without routine oversight.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
