About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead CT Technologist to join our team at Southern NH Health. As a leader in the field of radiology, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides overall team leadership in the absence of the CT Supervisor, ensuring that section-specific policies and protocols are followed.
- Responsible for daily operations, addressing patient issues, support issues, and general operational flow issues.
- Performs CT Scan procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) "CT Scan Practice Standards" and the ASRT "Code of Ethics".
- Participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the "APIE" model.
- Completes annual mandatory education on time.
- Participates in interviews and recommendation of candidates for employment within area of responsibility.
- Develops a collaborative orientation plan for new employees at the site, with site-specific needs being addressed.
Requirements:
- Completion of formal Radiological Technologist training in an AMA approved school required.
- Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Required.
- ARRT/CT certification required within 24 months.
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
- Demonstrates an understanding of human anatomy, human physiology, pathology, pharmacology, computer technology, basic patient care and assessment techniques, radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection, and medical terminology.
- Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
