Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adult patients, including older adults and pediatric patients, in the operating room setting.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during surgery.
- Participate in post-operative care, including administering medications and providing wound care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Texas license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certification in CPR, ACLS, and PALS.
- Minimum two years of experience in the operating room setting.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
