We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a dishwasher at Hotel Indigo Waco-Baylor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment by scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. They will also be responsible for unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers and performing additional cleaning duties as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Returning utensils and plates to their proper locations after unloading the dishwasher
- Participating in regular employee meetings to ensure all procedures and safety rules are followed
- Sweeping and scrubbing kitchen floors to maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Maintaining proper amounts of detergents and other cleaning supplies, and notifying the supervisor of any mechanical defects with the dishwashing machine
- Scraping plates, sorting dishes, and rinsing glassware before putting them in the dishwasher to be cleaned
Qualifications include:
- Hardworking, detail-oriented, and strong work ethic
- Some experience working in the food service industry preferred
- Great physical health and stamina
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
Compensation: $11 - $13 hourly
