About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutritionist I to join our team at Brunswick County, NC. As a key member of our Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program, you will provide professional nutritional services to our community, including general nutrition and comprehensive nutritional counseling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional assessments and required counseling to program participants
  • Apply nutritional theories and concepts to develop effective nutrition plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Drive a county vehicle to work at other WIC sites as needed
Requirements
  • Graduation from a Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education-approved Didactic Program in Dietetics
  • Or Dietetic Technician, Registered with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a bachelor's degree in any subject area
  • Or Bachelor's of Science degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition, or Community Nutrition
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
