Key Responsibilities- Obtain Vital Signs: Timely and accurately record patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Assist with Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as bowel and bladder care.
- Ambulate and Reposition Patients: Safely and efficiently move patients to prevent complications associated with immobility.
- Reinforce Education: Educate patients on the use of incentive spirometers and other medical equipment to promote healthy outcomes.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace: Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff by maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in assisting patients and teammates as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including honesty, calmness, reliability, compassion, and caring towards customers and coworkers.
- CNA Certification: Possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Previous Patient Care Experience: Previous experience in patient care, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Repetitive Use of Hands and Fingers: Perform repetitive tasks that require the use of hands and fingers, such as typing on a computer keyboard.
- Lifting and Carrying Light Loads: Lift and carry light loads, up to 40 pounds, including boxes, equipment, and IV solutions.
- Sitting, Walking, or Standing for Long Periods: Sit, walk, or stand for extended periods, as needed.
- Onsite at Main Campus: Work onsite at our main campus.
- Part-Time Schedule: Work a part-time schedule, with three 8-hour shifts per week.
- Days - Between 7a and 3p: Work days between 7a and 3p.
- Standard Rate of $19.50 per hour: Receive a standard rate of $19.50 per hour, plus benefits.
- Enhanced Rate of $21.99 per hour: Receive an enhanced rate of $21.99 per hour, without benefits.
