Your Role and Responsibilities
We are in search of a Product Marketing Manager for our Distribution Solutions Gas Insulated Switchgear portfolio, which includes primary GIS and ring main units (RMU) tailored for the US market.

The Product Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing the portfolio strategy across various market segments, channels, and targeted accounts.

This role will involve coordinating all marketing efforts across LPGs in alignment with the global strategy for GIS and RMU.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing, planning, and ensuring the execution of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning in line with the global marketing strategy.
  • Driving the achievement of targets related to metrics such as total demand orders, growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turnover on finished goods, and on-time delivery.
  • Assessing market opportunities and determining suitable activities that align with the overarching strategy, while coordinating efforts across local divisions and business units.
  • Ensuring balanced growth across all product lines and business units, creating product demand through the promotion of technical aspects, solution provision, and employing a value-based selling approach.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with an MBA being advantageous. Candidates should possess over 8 years of experience in technical marketing and/or sales, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the electrical industry.

Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in technical comprehension, business management, and financial terminology, along with a proven track record of cross-organizational and cross-cultural collaboration and communication.

Experience in engaging with senior management organizations, both internally and externally, is essential. Candidates must have the necessary work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.
