Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals in state custody. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, as well as medication management and education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric services, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management, to individuals in state custody.
- Conduct comprehensive initial intake assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Order and review laboratory test results, as necessary, to inform treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Participate in on-call coverage and provide emergency psychiatric services, as needed.
- Develop and implement mental health policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, rules, and standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Oklahoma.
- Three (3) years of experience as a practicing psychiatrist.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
