Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Expert: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, cleaning, and performing other duties as assigned.
  • Sales and Upselling: Develop sales skills to meet or exceed sales targets, while providing customers with personalized recommendations and promotions.
  • Brand Ambassador: Promote our brand by encouraging customers to join our loyalty rewards program and highlighting the benefits and offers available.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately manage cash transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a secure and efficient cash handling process.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and employees, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, trash removal, and window washing, to maintain a clean and inviting store environment.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Participate in maintaining a clean and welcoming outdoor space, contributing to a positive environmental impact and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older (21 in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
  • Personality Traits: Friendly demeanor, ability to make people feel welcome, detail-oriented, reliable, responsible, and flexible.
