Warehouse Freight Handler Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and physically capable Warehouse Freight Handler to join our team at FHI. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of products through our distribution centers.

Responsibilities:
  • Unload trailers delivering products to our distribution warehouses and utilize powered industrial equipment to remove products from trailers.
  • Break down pallets and restack cases onto new pallets as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, performing duties safely and efficiently to achieve production and safety goals.
  • Perform all job tasks assigned by leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily productivity and quality goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a warehouse associate is preferred.
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment, including order selection, product staging, and powered pallet jack/forklift operation.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact respectfully with associates, co-workers, management, and customers.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout the workday.
  • Ability to handle cases weighing 25-95 pounds and handle between 50-200+ pallets on any given day.
