Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing MRI exams on a variety of body parts, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams efficiently and effectively, ensuring high-quality images and patient satisfaction.
  • Complete pre-exam screening, greet patients, and assist with gowns, history forms, and technologist exam sheets.
  • Verify and follow doctor's orders, initial patient charts, and safely administer contrast media when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, including physicians, coworkers, patients, and their families.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiography program.
  • RT and MR certification from ARRT.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Tech and 2 years of MRI experience preferred.
