We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Boston, MA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to students to enhance their daily living skills and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and create individualized therapy plans.
- Implement effective therapeutic interventions to improve students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational and developmental objectives.
- Document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the formulation of individualized education programs.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
- Prior experience working with children in a school or educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
