Position Summary
Tiger Correctional Services is seeking a Culinary Operations Supervisor to oversee food service activities, ensuring adherence to health and sanitation regulations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. This is a full-time entry-level role with training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in accordance with established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Uphold sanitation and safety standards to comply with federal and state regulations.
- Supervise staff provided by the facility.
- Conduct daily inventory management and tracking.
- Manage kitchen supplies and order requirements.
- Perform quality assurance checks as needed.
- Foster professional relationships with staff, administration, and labor, aligning with company values.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols established by the organization and facility administration.
- Complete assigned tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Strong culinary skills
- Dependable and focused on meeting deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including food safety and sanitation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities, including reading proficiency.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights.
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Remote work is not applicable for this position.
