**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team at B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Anticipate and respond to guests' needs in a friendly and positive manner, providing the highest level of service.
- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests.
- Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services.
- Work as a team player in meeting guests' needs, and actively contribute to the efforts of other departments when necessary.
- Understand and follow B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group's guest service recovery program.
**Financial Performance and Cost Control:**
- Follow proper selling techniques and ensure strategies are utilized to maximize room revenues.
- Monitor room availability, follow restrictions, and all booking policies and procedures.
- Drive sales and maximize revenue by up-selling rooms and amenities.
- Adhere to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures when handling cash and processing financial transactions.
**Self/Workload Management:**
- Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing work duties.
- Adhere to B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group general work rules and department procedures.
- Attend all required department and hotel meetings.
**Safety/Risk Management:**
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Follow all B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group procedures for guest/team member incidents.
- Knowledgeable of hotel emergency procedures.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years prior guest service experience required, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills needed.
- Attention to detail, customer-focused, and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
