Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Controls Engineer to join our team at Vibracoustic North America. In this key role, you will provide technical support to our multi-shift production operations located in Manchester, NH.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with electrical system installation, PLCs, and maintenance in an industrial setting. Training and experience with pneumatics, controls, welding, plumbing, and other related disciplines are also required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing programs for PLCs, troubleshooting complex industrial systems, analyzing equipment specifications, and working with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions.

Additionally, the candidate will be expected to interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements, power up electrical systems, present ideas to the team on improving overall performance of equipment, and maintain low voltage and high voltage systems using diagnostic equipment, prints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using laptops and wire 110, 220, and 480 systems. Experience with NPN/PNP read switches, PLC programs, hanging buss boxes, hydraulic systems, troubleshooting MAC, slave, direction, and other valves, thermocouples, encoders, and electrical circuits is required.

Preferred qualifications include the ability to write PIC programs, program robotics, and modify machine programs.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with electrical system installation, PLCs, and maintenance in an industrial setting
