Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector role at Peko Precision Products is a critical position that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality control principles. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of assemblies and machined parts to ensure they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional inspections on in-process and finished machined parts and products using measurement techniques and equipment.
  • Inspect weldments and fabricated products.
  • Inspect finished product (painting and powdercoat).
  • Inspect assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Use experience with common metrology tools, including calipers and micrometers, to measure parts.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ISO compliant manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to read blueprints and proficient understanding of GD&T.
  • 3+ years inspection experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years inspection experience in a precision machining environment.
  • Previous exposure to operation and programming of CMM equipment.
  • CMM experience.

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $28.00 per hour.
