Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications and providing patient education.
  • Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and verify medication accuracy.
  • Engage with customers and patients, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including processing manual claims and maintaining inventory.
  • Assist with clinical services, such as collecting and labeling blood/urine samples, and coordinating with healthcare providers.

Requirements:

  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
