About the Role

The Echo Sonographer at Northwest Texas Healthcare System is responsible for managing daily operations and ensuring efficient patient flow in the Echo department. This role involves performing ultrasound examinations, preparing reports, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exemplary patient care.

Responsibilities
  1. Assists cardiologists and staff physicians with tests
  2. Demonstrates echo sonography skills needed for all positions
  3. Demonstrates good patient care
  4. Utilizes leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback on student performance
  5. Demonstrates good communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiology Credentialing International (CCI) certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
