Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Job Summary:
HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Skagit Regional Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our oncology department.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer therapeutic radiation treatments to patients as part of the oncology patient care team
Operate linear accelerators and associated imaging systems to deliver precise and effective treatments
Perform daily patient and room setup in accordance with treatment plans
Accurately document patient information and treatment details in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Ensure timely and accurate charge entry for provided services
Maintain current licensure and/or certification as required

Requirements:
Graduate of a Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAAHEP) accredited Radiation Therapist program
Previous experience as a Radiation Therapist preferred
Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist registration required within 90 days of hire
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiation Therapy Registered or Registry (RT(T)) eligible

Working Conditions:
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects and patients weighing over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
