Job Responsibilities The Manufacturing Production Lead is responsible for overseeing the production staff. Key responsibilities include:
General Responsibilities:
1. Conduct a visual inspection of the work area for safety risks before the shift begins.
2. Maintain vigilance for safety concerns throughout the shift.
3. Guide team members in their daily tasks.
4. Manage team members' schedules and leave requests.
5. Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and address any discrepancies immediately.
6. Confirm the accuracy of production work orders.
7. Train new hires to achieve daily production targets and standards.
8. Update production performance metrics.
9. Ensure timely and accurate completion of production documentation.
10. Conduct quality assurance checks on production lines.
11. Report production challenges to the Operations Manager as necessary.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
*High School Diploma required.
*Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
*Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous; however, production experience in any manufacturing setting is essential.
