Key Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including checking patient medical records, taking vital signs, and maintaining client educational materials. You will also be responsible for admitting and discharging patients, taking prescription refills, and monitoring hospital patients. Additionally, you will assist the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia procedures.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be able to multitask and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You will also need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and one to two years of related experience and/or training. Registered Veterinary Technicians are preferred, but not required. We are open to training the right candidate.
