Position Summary:

The Quotations Specialist will operate under minimal supervision, leveraging technical expertise to create comprehensive quotation packages tailored to product specifications. This role requires the ability to interpret client needs, align products with their requirements, and ensure that the quotations are both technically sound and competitively priced.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize in-depth product knowledge to formulate effective quotations that address customer demands.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to generate timely proposals that deliver value to both clients and the organization.
• Engage professionally with clients to discern their needs and assess alternative technical solutions.
• Document specific client requirements, preferences, and concerns meticulously.
• Proficiently navigate and utilize quotation software tools, including catalogs and pricing databases.
• Maintain accurate records of customer quotation inquiries.
• Organize and preserve copies of quotations and relevant supporting documents.
• Facilitate clear communication among clients, external sales teams, and internal personnel.
• Alert supervisors or managers regarding any client issues or potential company liability concerns.

• Ability to comprehend client specifications and propose suitable products that fulfill their requirements.
• Understanding of customer support standards in business-to-business interactions.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in technical customer support.
