Job Description

As an Elementary Special Education Teacher at Uncommon Schools, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. You will work closely with general education teachers, school leaders, and families to ensure that students receive the support and accommodations they need to succeed academically and personally.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with families and Special Education teams to develop 504 and IEPs that offer appropriate accommodations and modifications.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional growth and academic achievement.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
