Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finish food items simultaneously with high quality and in accordance with nutrition and sanitation standards.
  • Follow directives from the executive or sous chef and report any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, ensuring your workstation and kitchen equipment are sanitary.
  • Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking techniques, quality benchmarks, and kitchen policies.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of food products at workstations to meet service demands efficiently.
  • Foster a positive and professional relationship with team members, proactively addressing their needs.
  • Utilize organized service steps to ensure precise execution, aiming for consistency even during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Prep or Line Cook in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of cooking techniques, plating, and knife skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
