We are in search of a highly driven and seasoned Infrastructure Project Engineer to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with supervising the design, construction, and maintenance of utility infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage the construction of utility infrastructure projects, encompassing water and sewer systems, stormwater management systems, and roadways
  • Conduct site evaluations and inspections to ensure projects are executed in accordance with design specifications
  • Prepare and assess engineering designs, calculations, and schematics
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and cost-effective project execution
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and cost analyses for prospective projects
  • Engage in the development of project proposals and bids
  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulations, codes, and standards
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and best practices
  • Work in conjunction with other departments to ensure effective project coordination and delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, ideally within the utility infrastructure domain
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methodologies
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making competencies
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes, such as ASCE, AWWA, and ASTM
  • Willingness to travel for site evaluations and project meetings
