Responsibilities:

  • Provide decentralized pharmacy services, including attending codes and participating in medication management
  • Utilize EPIC, Lexicomp, and Baxter IQ systems to manage patient medications and orders
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely medication administration
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Develop and implement medication use policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Active AZ license or Compact certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of true hospital pharmacy experience
  • EPIC experience required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • IV pharmacist/compounding pharmacist experience a plus

Work Environment:

Our pharmacy team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute division setting. As a Pharmacist at Yuma Regional Medical Center, you will work closely with a clinical manager and pharmacy technicians to ensure seamless medication management and patient care.

What We Offer:

  • Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling: 10-hour day and evening shifts, 7 on 7 off, Thursday - Wednesday
  • Weekend shifts required every other or once per month
  • Two out of three holidays required
  • Cancellation policy allows for the equivalent of weekly guaranteed hours to be canceled for a 13-week assignment
