Position Overview

As a key member of the ServiceSource team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the nutritional well-being of individuals with disabilities. Your expertise will guide personalized dietary counseling for a diverse group including students, coaches, and food service personnel.

Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as a nutritional expert, providing tailored advice to enhance performance and recovery for athletes and support staff.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments of dietary habits and body composition to ensure optimal nutrition for training and competition.
3. Collaborate with the Director of Culinary Operations to create inclusive menus that accommodate various dietary needs and restrictions.
4. Develop cycle menus that ensure balanced nutritional value and conduct thorough nutritional analyses prior to menu rollouts.
5. Address dietary allergies and religious dietary requirements to promote health and safety among all individuals served.
6. Facilitate nutrition education programs and presentations to raise awareness and understanding of nutritional practices.

Additional Duties
1. Uphold program policies to effectively implement nutritional components.
2. Provide input on menu design and assist in recipe management.
3. Engage with staff to promote nutritional awareness and best practices.
4. Perform routine checks to ensure compliance with nutritional standards and guidelines.

Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution is essential.
2. Must hold a Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
3. A minimum of two years of experience in a dietary role, preferably within a food service context focusing on sports nutrition.

Skills and Abilities
1. In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and their application in health and disease management.
2. Proficiency in utilizing educational materials for effective nutrition education.
3. Strong analytical skills to interpret and evaluate nutritional data.
4. Ability to foster collaborative relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Work Environment
1. The role may involve occasional exposure to outdoor conditions, with a generally quiet work atmosphere.
