Amentum is seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our award-winning team. The successful candidate will support the analysis of software performance characteristics, design and develop software support tools, and analyze tools to aid in the software development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze software performance characteristics and develop methods to improve disk space utilization, network loading, and throughput
• Design, code, and maintain software support tools and models
• Support the analysis of tools to aid in the software development process, including test automation tools, code coverage tools, and memory checking tools

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience, or a Master's degree in a related field, plus 2 years of experience
• Possession or desire to pursue a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification, or ability to obtain within 1 month of start
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active SECRET security clearance, with US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, GitLab, Docker, Java, Python, Ruby, Perl, Scripting YAML, SAST, DAST, and other frameworks and methods to improve the continuous improvement/continuous delivery pipeline of a software development factory
